Messin around

I have been messing around with all of the fun things you can do with a blog. I think it is soo cool. I have not taken any photos lately so I put up a bunch of old ones. I love to look at old photos and remember how fun the day was. The song is.... well funny. Willy has totally hooked my boys on this silly song. Now they love it. I thought they would get a kick out of seeing the missionaries do a funny take on this silly song. Enjoy.

Over the years....

Nothing going on.

I haven't posted anything for a while. There just is not much going on. I need to get my camera out and take more pictures. I finally got everything in the basement finished. Everything is cleaned out and put away. All of the rooms are finished and it is like we have twice the house now. It is fun. We have really enjoyed having the family room and play room back. The boys love their new room!! I love the food storage and regular storage rooms. Everything has a place and I feel like I have perged all of the things we did not need. If feels so good to have everything cleaned up. So now I am turning to the holiday's and holiday crafts! So exciting. I have a few pics of the basement. I will put them on.

Chillin' with Aaron

Brooklyn loves her uncle Aaron. She favors him to most! Weird being that we only see him once every 3-6 months. He must have a lot of really good chocolate in his pocket. LOL

The Snake

This weekend while we were at my parents house Davis came across a stick laying on the ground. He decided to kick it, being a boy and all. Much to his surprise the stick moved! It was a big long snake. He and my Sister, Amber, picked it up and studied it. I freaked and screamed like a girl.

Go JAZZ!

This weekend we went to visit my family in Salt Lake. While we were there we went to the Jazz game. Davis was pretty excited (this was his first Jazz game). When we got there we were pretty disappointed in our seats, they were way, way up their. So after the first quarter we went down and found some great seats on the 15th row. We had a blast! We got the kids some of the noise makers you slap together. Boy, did we regret that, we were hit in the head a bunch of times and had a headache by the time we left. No matter, a fun time was had by all!!

Spelling

Today Davis came home from school and started writing words on a piece of paper. Willy asked him if he was writing a story or just words? He said, he was just writing words. When he was finished he brought the paper to me and said, "is this good for my spelling test or do I need to write more?" I laughed to myself and then said, "honey, you have to have a list from your teacher for a spelling test, you can't just write down random words." I thought it was pretty funny that he thought writing down a bunch of words would count as a spelling test.

Fire House Fun

Tonight for FHE we visited the Madison County Fire Department. Devan and his friend Cameron needed to visit the fire house for a scouting requirement. My friend Andrea set it all up for us. The kids had a great time climbing into all of the trucks to see all of the neat equipment. They showed us the jaws of life and answered all of the odd and silly questions that we had. Davis asked, "what if you have a fire at the fire department and one at a home?" What a goof ball. Here are some pictures of us at the firehouse with our friends and neighbors, The Garners
