Christmas Dance

Every year our ward puts on a Christmas Dinner and Dance. We go and have a nice dinner and then they have a band play so you can dance. Old Fashioned, but a great idea. So we went and had a great dinner, the gym was decorated wonderful. I then spent the rest of the night in the kitchen doing dishes. But Willy was smart enough to get some great shots of the kids. Davis is dancing with Hannah, he looks so debonair. The other night the Garner's (Hannah's family) were over at some friends house. The Mom was explaining that she had a different name when she was younger (her maiden name) and she was explaining to Hannah that now her name is Hanna Garner, but later it will be Hannah Garner..... Then Hannah's older brother Cameron pipes up and says "Berry" Hannah Garner Berry. I thought it was pretty funny.

Anyway, I think Devan looks like he has been caught in the act! And Brooklyn is dancing with her favorite babysitter, Lydia.

Reg. Hello

Yesterday I tried defusing Brooklyn's hair. The result as you can see is a head of curls. She looked so cute I wanted to take some pics. Then I decided the pics were not doing her justice so I had to take a video. She was very sweet. One of those moments.

Books

Last Friday I took the kids to the mall to Christmas shop. We had a great time. We were headed for a one day trip to Salt Lake on the bus the next day so I promised the kids they could get a book to read on the bus. Devan loves Dav Pilkey, so we went looking for a few books. Devan got Cat Kong and Davis got Dogzilla. Brooklyn of course got some Dora books. I thought it was fun to watch them enjoying and laughing while readying their silly stories, so I snapped a few photos.

Bath Time Fun!

Brooklyn has now turned my bathroom tub into a swimming pool. Everytime I let her take a bath she starts to slide down the side of the tub into the water. She has a blast and throws a fit when I try to get her out of the tub. She does make a mess!

Toddler Pre school

This fall Brooklyn was able to attend Toddler school at BYU-I. This was a really fun experience for her. She learned a lot and was able to play with other kids her age. She has started talking more and is more independent. I think I owe this to school. I wanted to post some pictures of her at school. The pictures the school gave me are in a power point presentation so I will have to figure out how to up load it.
