Saturday before the big game the kids were downstairs playing. Brooklyn picked up small metal pipe that goes to some toy or something. She held it up to her mouth and was talking through it. Davis, being his normal self, was bouncing around the basement playing basketball. He did not even see Brooklyn and ran smack into the long pipe she had against her mouth. The pipe split her lip and she was bleeding all over. Devan and I felt so horrible, we both got quite sick at the site of poor little Brooklyn with her lip split. I ran her upstairs to her Dad and after I got her dressed and did her hair I sent Willy to Community Care to have her lip stitched up. I was so glad that I did not have to take her. He said that she was very brave. They rubbed a numbing solution on her lip and waited for it to take effect. Then they stitched three little "spider stitches" in her little lip. She told the doctor "no way, no way" while he was stitching her up and then as soon as he was done she said "bye, see ya" she was out of there. She has been so good. I am taking her back to get them out tomorrow unless Willy cuts them out tonight. This is not a very good picture. Brooklyn has dinner all over her face and she did not want her picture taken but it is the only picture I got of her stitches. She will thank me some day when we can go back and tell her story.

Thanksgiving

We had a very nice trip to Salt Lake. My sister's baby shower was awesome. I got to see a lot of people that I had not seen in a long time. The food was great and Amber got so much stuff for the baby. That was fun. Then we took the load of stuff to Amber's house and unloaded it. Then I helped her organize her nursery. This is something that I love to do! That baby wont need a thing for the first year of her life. What great friends and family! I also got some important Christmas shopping in and had a great time hanging out with my Mom and my Sis.
Then I got sick so the rest of the trip was not so much fun. I was a drag to be around and I felt horrible. We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving day and then early Friday morning we were headed back home. Devan had a basketball tournament to get to in Idaho Falls. His team played two games on Friday and killed both teams. So on Saturday we headed back to Idaho Falls for the championship game. It was a close game, but that made it interesting! Devan and his team played great and game away with championship trophies! Pretty fun.

Here is Devan and his best bud Cameron after the big game!
The whole team

Brooklyn hanging out with her best cousin Ro, during the game.

This is the only picture I took in Salt Lake. It is a crapy one too. But while we were there Brooklyn just had to have a Princess dress. Of course, Nana got her one and she wore it the whole time we were there. She wore it at home, she wore it shopping and she wore it to friends houses. She was very cute. She loved being dressed up like a princess and she made sure that everyone saw her in it.

SL here we come!

I am heading to Salt Lake in about 20 minutes. Besides the one day trip we took to Morgan, UT I have not been to Salk Lake since last Christmas. I am very excited. Sam, Brooklyn and I are going down to stay with Mom and Dad. My sister Amber is having a baby and I am hosting a baby shower for her. Then I am staying until Thanksgiving, to make blankets or whatever Amber wants for the baby and to Shop and hang out with my Mom! It will be fun. I get to sleep in everyday, go out to eat and I don't have to clean house everyday!!! I hope the weather is sunny and warm and the shopping is great!

Sam and "D"

Brooklyn has always called Davis "D" so thus the tittle. Anyone who knows Davis knows about his constant drawing and creating. He is always making football play books, comic strips, or drawing random pictures. Well today he had the crazy idea that he was going to make a helicopter. He is pretty proud of it.This is the little tiny man that rides inside of the helicopter with his computer.

This is the little tiny mans flat screen T.V. and remote control. He is watching a football game (of course) and the officials are saying, "it's good" referring to the field goal. He is such a funny little boy. He had a great time making it and he can not wait to show it to Devan and Willy. He also wanted to show his aunts and his Gma and Gpa and Nana and Papa, so that is why I put it on the blog. Enjoy.

Sam all ready fits into this adorable little church outfit. I bought it for him at TJ Max. I just love it and I think it is so sweet. Willy hates the hat and every time he wears it to church he takes it off, but I think it is really cute.

What's going on?

You might ask us. Well I will tell you what is going on at the Berry house.

Sam is growing and growing. I have told him to stop but he just keeps growing. He is soooo cute. He smiles and coos and talks to anyone that will talk back. I have been putting him on his tummy a lot and he holds his head up so well.Brooklyn has been playing dress up with Ro, her favorite cousin.

She also has been letting me do her hair. I only have to force it a little. I love her little pigtails.

She has also been playing hard. Notice the nice bruise in the center of her forehead. She has hit the same spot 3 times. She is such a tough little girl.

Sam has become a finger sucker. He is the only one of my children to do this and I think it is hilarious! I especially like this finger position.

I wish I had some great pictures of my boys but I don't. They are gone all day to school and then to basketball practice. I will try to get some action shots of the games. We are going to Idaho Falls every Saturday for basketball games. It is kinda fun not only to watch my boys play ball but just to hang out, go shopping, and eat out.
So I think, no news is good news. And that's about it for now.

Over to the side under the blog name it tells you when they last posted. I just don't know how to get my blog to do this. So if you can tell me how to do it leave me a comment! Thanks.

Happy Halloween

We had a nice Halloween! Brooklyn found this costume and had to have it. We tried to make her into a nice witch with the sparkly make-up, but she ended up just looking like a pink raccoon. She had a great time. Wore her costume all day. We went shopping at Walmart and a couple of little girls said she looked "Fancy". It was funny. She had a great time at the Halloween carnival and Trick or Treating. Davis was a Madison Bobcat Fan. Easy and free costume. Love that one.

Devan decided to be a cheerleader with his friend Cameron. They wore my old CHS uniforms. We got wigs and did their makeup. They looked pretty funny. I can't believe the uniforms fit them. I was little in high school. Wish I still were.

I wish little Sam could have been in the picture. He was napping and had spit up all over his pumpkin shirt.

Owwwwwwww

I told some of you this story, but thought I would put it on paper for you anyway. I was having a wonderful day. I was watching Shalaina's little girl, Ro. Brooklyn and Ro were playing noisily in Brooklyn's bedroom. I decided to dust the blinds in my bedroom. Sam was sleeping peacefully in his crib. I had laid him on his tummy to sleep and closed the door. So I was dusting along, when I heard my little Sam crying hysterically. I started to run into his room to see what was going on.... the picture that lay before my eyes filled me with horror. Brooklyn had climbed into Sam's crib and was bouncing on his back like he was a trampoline!!! I grabbed her out of his crib and began to run with her into her room to put her on her bed for the rest of her life. As I did this I proceeded to ram by foot into the door jam! Owwwwwww! Yes, that hurt. So I throw Brooklyn onto her bed and run back into little Sam. He was just lying there still. I panicked, but as I got closer I could see that he was just sound asleep! I scooped him up anyway and rocked him. I called Willy in hysterical tears telling him something about, I think I broke my foot and Brooklyn tried to kill Sam. I am sure you can imagine him running home with all sorts of visions in his head. Everyone is fine. Little Sam did not even have a mark and he loves Brooklyn all the more. I have an extremely broken toe and a really sore foot. I am on my way to Walmart to look for safety doorknobs to keep Brooklyn out of Sam's room. I hope we all survive this next year!

This is not a great picture... I am in need of a pedicure and when I hit my foot on the door jam, it ripped most of my toe nail polish off. The toe has straightened out by this time. I put a picture up only for my sis.

Pizza

We have found a new dinner that everyone loves! We have recently discovered that our favorite pizza parlor sales raw dough. We buy two raw dough ball for $2 each! We make one large pizza and then split the other dough ball so the kids can all make their own. We put whatever toppings we like on it and everyone has fun and cleans their plate. This is Devan's best friend Cameron, he was staying with us this day.Everyone making their own pizza.Little Brooklyn enjoying her very own pizza!

Compare 2001 to 2008

Everyone keeps saying that little Sam looks like Davis. So.... I am putting up a picture of Sam on his blessing day. He wore Davis' blessing outfit. I really don't think they look very much alike. What do you think??? This was the picture that looked most similar to the one above. Look how fat Davis is. He is the exact same age as Sam and in the exact same outfit. I really don't think they look alike.... maybe if Davis were a little thinner???

Look at this goofy picture. I can't believe how horrible my hair looks. I was a lot thinner though. Devan was such a cutie he just melts my heart. I think Willy looks the same, only now he has gray on the sides.

It is fun to compare these photos. Only 7 years later!!

Pics of Sam

I took Sam over to my friends house for a photo shoot. She has an awesome camera and loves to take pictures so I asked her if she would take some of little Sam. Here are a couple (until she photo shops the ones I like). I think they turned out so cute. His eyes are soo blue. Try not to notice all of his little scratches. Brooklyn had been getting too him. I think she is finally getting over being too mean to little Sam. I love this one too. It turned out great. Thanks for the photo shoot Ashley!!!

Let me Know

I would love to know who is looking at my blog. So leave a comment and let me know!!! Thanks everyone.

Sam's blessing day

Nearly all of Willy's family were at the blessing. I did not get a chance to take a picture of everyone but I did get one of Grandma and Grandpa with Sam on his special day. This is the only family shot we got with everyone semi decent. It is hard to get your family to look at the camera, smile, and keep their eyes open. What a hassle. I hope to get a real family photo soon!

Sam's blessing day.

We blessed our sweet baby Sam on Sunday, October 12. It was a nice day. Amber and Aaron drove up late on Saturday night. I was so glad that they came. Brooklyn was too! We enjoyed all of our company and were glad that Sam was so good for the blessing. Brooklyn still loves to hold Sam every chance she gets. We just have to watch her so she does not scratch him or pinch him and make him cry. Little stinker.

My Mom came up for the weekend. We had a good time going to diner and a movie with the kids. We saw Journey to the Center of the Earth. It was a cute movie. My kids love it when Nana comes because we always get to do something special.
I have no idea why we took all of the pictures in Sam's room. It was cold and snowy outside so I guess we just took pictures in his room. I know the background is goofy.

When Pumpkins Drink

I thought this was funny! It was in an email Willy sent me. Thought I would share it with you all

Mighty Hunters

Willy took the boys hunting today and brought this back. I prayed that they would not shoot anything, because I could not stand the thought of Willy butchering it in my garage. They got this anyway. Although it is not the monster buck they were dreaming of, they were pretty excited anyway. They froze their butts off and saw a lot of game. I think they had a good time.

Sam is 6 weeks old!

Sam is growing too fast. He has been such a delight. We loving having a new brother. He had spit up or peed thru several outfits on this day. So I got out one of the outfits my Dad bought him from Osh Kosh. It was a little big, but it looked so cute on him. I kind of think it makes him look older than his 6 weeks. I don't like him to look older but he sure looks cute.

He has started to smile and coo at me. I tried to get a picture of it but he did not cooperate.

Gun fight

The kids in our neighborhood have gotten really into having air-soft gun fights. They have all earned the money to go out and buy one and they have regular fights daily. They are having a great time. I just hope no one gets hurt. I let Devan shoot be in the leg from a long ways away. It stung. I would hate to be in a fight. They wear eye protection but not much else. I am glad they are getting their energy out and having a good time.

Football Action

Devan's team made the playoffs with a record of 5 and 1. We had our first game on Wednesday night and we won 13 to 8. So we are on to our next and toughest round on Tuesday. If we win we go on to the championship game Saturday if we loose we are out! I will keep you posted. Devan is number 7
As I was watching the game and taking pictures i looked over to notice Brooklyn drinking out of this pop. She saw me and new she should not be doing it so she backed away and smiled mischieviously. I said to her, "who's pop are you drinking?' It was really her Dad's pop so it was no big deal. But it was funny.
She had a great time playing at the game with her friends. A lot of people ask us if this little girl is Brooklyn's sister.

Football Mania

Brooklyn playing at the football game!Devan is the QB
I love this picture of the team captains, meeting and shaking hands. I love it because it is Devan and some of his best friends, Connor and Max and it is such a great thing that they all get to play football together!
