So Sad

Here are some of the pictures I took with my phone (this is why they look so bad) at the hospital. Brooklyn was sooo brave. She only really cried when they gave her the I.V. Everyone at the hospital was really great to work with. WARNING: the third picture down is very graphic. If you have a weak stomach do not look!!!! Brooklyn showing me her hand were the I.V was
This is what her arm looked like before the cast. I know it looks horrible.

I can not figure out how to move the pics around in blogger so here is the story of what happened to poor little Brooklyn and some pics of her at home after.

Sunday evening we had some friends over for diner. After a nice diner and fun at the park the girls decided they wanted to wade in the pool. Brooklyn climbed up on the little slide on her wading pool and somehow slipped off and fell backwards onto the grass. She must have landed with her arm at a horrible angle because it snapped in half. Willy looked at her arm and could see that it was broke as it was angled in a J shape. He scooped her up and went to the car. Our friends came running in to tell me what had happened. I ran out to the car to take Brooklyn to the E.R. We spent the next three hours in the E.R. with little Brooklyn. They had to give her an I.V. and put her out so they could set the arm. Then they put this temporary cast on it until the swelling goes down. She hardly cried at all. The worst part was the I.V. She was very brave. She had a ruff day yesterday. She was a little grouchy from frustration, pain meds, and exhaustion. She has been showered with love, attention and gifts! I will take more pics and let you know how she is doing.

My little Gymnast

For the past couple of months Brooklyn has been going to gymnastics classes twice a week. She absolutely LOVES it. She calls it boing boing. She wears her leotards everyday and can't wait to go. I finally got in to take some pictures. This is the goodbye song they sing. Brooklyn loves to get a stamp on her arm, leg, foot or any other body part, after class is over.

This is one of her very favorite parts, jumping down the long trampoline. This is why she calls it "boing boing"
playing in the pit of foam
When they transition between centers they go in a train

Recently Brooklyn's little friend Chloe joined her gymnastics class. This is Brooklyn and Chloe practicing jumping over the bean bags on the low beam.

A family Affair

For Willy's Mom's birthday we kids put our minds together and decided she would love a picture of "her kids" I know she considers us out-laws "her kids" too, but we thought a picture of her birthed children would be nice. We found a great spot to take pictures and had so much fun. It was nice to take pictures of cooperative adults instead of crying children. I was really happy with the way they all turned out and Mary (Willy's Mom) LOVED them!

I had to throw in a little picture of Sam. Of course he had to come along on the trip. He has a serious case of momitis.

This one is one of my favorites. It was too funny to watch them pick up Preston instead of Amber.

Don't I have cute sister-in-laws!

It's Baseball Time!

Baseball season is officially in full swing. We have been practicing since February and have had several games. I am just very slow about blogging. We have games every weekend. Poor baby Sam got his first sunburn. Don't worry, I learned my lesson and am now very good with the sunscreen and shade. Davis likes to hang out in the shade with his buds. He is playing baseball too, but we happened to be at one of Devan's travel league games in Utah.

Because we are so lucky to travel to Utah for baseball, my family is able to come and watch the games too. My Sis and her hubby and baby came... (this is Sam, her baby is in the next pic with Papa)

Along with my Dad....

And my Mom. Thanks for coming and supporting us. I am sure we will be back in Utah soon for more games.
