Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school. I really can't believe how fast another year has gone by. I now have a wonderful, warm (?) summer to look forward to. I will then have a second grader and a fourth grader in the fall! I can't believe that. I am wishing myself the best with not going crazy having my kids home all day. Don't get me wrong, I love to have my kids home, but a whole summer of non-stop kids and an extremely large and cranky pregnant woman are not a good combination. So here is to all of us, with the hope that we survive the summer!

Great Story

This is a great story about a softball team in Oregon. I thought you all might like it. I emailed it to a few of you, but if you did not get it here you go!

Pictures

Usually when I try to take a picture, Brooklyn just runs away. So I got a quick snap shot that I thought was cute!!
One time when i can get them to hold still for a picture. They fell asleep watching Brooklyn's favorite Dora movie.
I actually had to threaten them this time. They usually wont show teeth and look like they are miserable in the pictures I take.

Teacher Appreciation

Last week was teacher appreciation week. I got asked two days before to decorate Devan's teachers door. This is what I came up with. Devan said everyone loved it! The bottom one with the frogs is Davis' teachers door. I did not do that one.

Look how Long!

I can't believe how long Brooklyn's hair is getting in the back. I am so excited. I wanted to cut it the other day, just a little trim (the back is long but the top is short), but the boys all through a fit. They wanted it to grow out long. So I am letting it grow for now. Look at the cute curls, I wish they would last.

My favorite Summer Salad

I have been craving this salad a lot lately. It is so easy to make and so yummy.

Cut up one cucumber into half slices
cut up any kind of tomato into bit size pieces
sprinkle with feta cheese (I like the tomato and basil flavored feta)
add about 1/2 cup Italian or Zesty Italian dressing

Sooooo yummy!
