Finally

I am finally getting back to blogging. I wanted to post some pictures of our fun holiday. We got 2 full weeks off from school. This means that Willy gets 2 weeks off also! We had a great time. We had a very nice Christmas. Devan and Davis really wanted Nintendo DS's for Christmas. I had told them several times that their Dad and I would not allow them to have one. So on Christmas when they finally got to open them up, they were very very excited. Christmas Eve brought on The Christmas Story (our favorite Christmas movie), Christmas Eve P.J's, cookies for Santa, lots of excitement and bouncing off the walls!
Christmas morning came at about 6 am for us. Brooklyn was afraid to come out of our room, she thought Santa was in the family room waiting for her and she is afraid of Santa. We finally got her out there and she was so excited. Santa had brought her the kitchen she wanted. We had a really fun morning. Right as we were about to make breakfast and right as I was getting out of the shower, we lost power in our neighborhood. We had no power for about 3 hours. This was interesting because, we could not listen to Christmas music, not watch our new movies, play our new video games, turn on the heat or fireplace, etc. We ended up putting together our new Foosball table. This was fun and having no power made for a great memory.

The day after Christmas we went to celebrate with my family. Nana always brings more Christmas and then a little more Christmas. We had a nice time in Salt Lake and while it took us 6 hours to make the 3.5 hour trip it was so well worth it! Then home again. We played and played, went bowling and had lots of basketball practice.
